First of all, thank you Andy for taking the time to do this interview with us at Flat Foot Racin.com.

Growing up in a purely racing based family, how has it been for you from your early years of being involved, to today’s racing?

It has been really Fun. My life has revolved around racing. It is apart of everything I do in life and what I will always Love.

With all the experience that both your dad Andy Sr. and Phil have within the racing business, how have they been able to help you find success thus far in your career?

They are always there for me. My dad is the one that gives me a car to race and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be racing. My Brother Phil is some one I look up to a lot. He has been through the same stuff I am going trough to get a start on a good racing career.

When and where did you make your first competitive racing event start? How’d it go?

My first race was a 100lap 4cly enduro. It don’t go as good as I wanted it to as I found my self in the wall on lap 9  but it was worth it. It shows that in racing up need patience’s.

Do your fellow competitors treat you any differently on and off the racetrack, with the household last name of Bozell and the famous #83?

No my competitors treat me good on and off the track. I learned if you race them clean on the track they will treat you good on and off. Regardless of the name and number.

Going into your 3rd year of racing, was up until now have you found to being the biggest key to success on the racetrack, as well as off it?

Working in the shop with my dad and brother where they  can teach me one on one of stuff I did wrong the week before and how I can improve it. My dad always have told me races are won Monday trough Friday in the shop you just go to the track to prove It on Saturday night.

As the 2007 racing season draws closer, what is it that you would like to do this coming season, and what are some of the different possibilities?

For 2007 I don’t plan on running for points anywhere part time at Kalamazoo and m40 speedway. Also a hand full of 4clydinder Enduros.

Local short-track racing is the breeding grounds for NASCAR racing series. The Kalamazoo Speedway is a NASCAR sanctioned track, so is there a long term goal within racing that you would like to reach someday? If so what are the steps that you feel you need to take to get there?

I would like to race Nextel cup is my goal but that is a long shot. I don’t want to race local my whole racing career. I would like to race in ASA or ARCA full time. If I don’t make it to any of those I would like to be a crew chief for a NASCAR team or own a local team.

Finally, as you very well know racing wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of many many people. Take a moment to say thanks to those that keep Bozell Racing on the track week in and week out.

I need to thank my dad for all the stuff he has done for me. Also my Brother Phil he has taught me a lot working with me one on one in the shop. I have to thank Mike and Beth Day they gave me a pure stock to race in 2005 full time. Mike has been with me sense day one and he is great help around the shop on all the cars. I would like to thank My mom, my sister, Joe Dirt, Erin, Aunt Kelly, Danny and Katie Foote, Grandpa and Grandma all these people have been a great help with the Bozell Racing team.
